Expose Ta Thèse > Rules

  • RULES

As part of the Forum Jeunes Chercheurs, 3rd year PhD students must produce a poster to present their thesis work
in an understandable way to non-specialists and participate in the "Expose Ta Thèse" contest. Participation in this competition is mandatory in the doctoral training plan (validation of 8 hours for a poster in
French language and subject to non-recycling of a specialized poster presented in a conference).

The poster must necessarily include:

    •         a title, which may be different than the thesis, short and original
    •         your identity: training, year of thesis, photo, ED, research laboratory, supervision of thesis, ...
    •         the summary of your thesis work: context, objectives, expected results and scientific results (publications, conferences, ...)
    •         your skills and career plan: skills acquired or to be acquired, careers considered.
It may also include:
    •         your partners and funders: local (platforms, ...), national, European, international
    •         the socio-economic benefits of your work: patents, start-ups or associations, etc.
  • RUNNING

Posters will be electronically deposited on the Sciencesconf.org platform for public voting (staff and PhD students).
An exhibition will be organized at the Maison de l'Université before the Forum. Twelve to fifteen posters will be preselected by the directors or deputy directors of the ED.
Their authors will have 5 minutes to present orally their work at the Forum.
During this presentation, they will have to make an effort of popularization, so that the jury * and the doctoral students
of all the disciplines can appreciate their work **.
Three doctoral students will be distinguished and rewarded by the jury.

Awards will be awarded to the winners on Friday, November 29 at 5:00 pm:
